Application of ultrasound imaging technique in dysphagia

Ultrasound imaging technique has been more and more widely applied in rehabilitation medicine in recent years. The application in the evaluation and management of dysphagia has captivated increasing attention. Recent studies have demonstrated that ultrasound imaging can not only evaluate dysphagia, but also contribute to the precise treatment of dysphagia. In addition, ultrasound imaging technique can accurately guide the injection treatment of other neck diseases, avoid damage to the swallowing-related structures and prevent the incidence of dysphagia. This article summarizes relevant research progresses, aiming to provide guidance for clinical application.
