Correlation between single nucleotide polymorphisms and non-traumatic necrosis of the femoral head
Femoral head necrosis is a common and fatal disease in orthopedics. With the increasingly extensive clinical application of glucocorticoids, glucocorticoids-induced necrosis of the femoral head has become a pivotal factor that causes disability and affects the quality of life of patients. However, the etiology of non-traumatic necrosis of the femoral head remains elusive. Besides external physical and chemical factors, genetic susceptibility has also been considered as an important reason for the incidence of femoral head necrosis. In this article, relevant studies of the correlation between single nucleotide polymorphisms and non-traumatic necrosis of the femoral head were summarized, aiming to provide reference for clinicians.
