Abstract: Colon slow transit constipation is one of stubborn disease, the preoperative evaluation is important to result of operation, it has a controversy in operation. It is a direction that surgeon need to awake to the necessity of patients, and choose the strategies of safe, effective, minimally invasive surgical treatment with less complications, not only easing symptom of constipation but also preserving the colon with weakened function.This review summarized the preoperative evaluation,types and effect of operation and the difficulties.
