Recently, some experts and authors have received suspected phishing emails impersonating the Editorial Office of Journal of New Medicine. These emails falsely claim that a “random check of manuscript data” is being conducted and instruct the experts and authors to add the sender’s personal WeChat account. We hereby reiterate such claims are entirely false. Editors of Journal of New Medicine will never request authors to add WeChat or QQ contacts.
