As a result of environmental changes, more and more people are exposed to the risk of the disruption of the environment-spirit-driven circadian rhythm, which disrupts the biological clock and seriously affects people’s physical and mental health. In order to reduce the adverse effects caused by the change of diurnal cycle types, the biological mechanisms of diurnal cycle rhythm and the influencing factors of individual diurnal cycle types were summarized and introduced in this paper, so as to provide a reference for the establishment of healthy diurnal cycle types.
